Inspiration: Etsuko Fuyura Vehicle Prints

etsuko-top.jpgVrrrroooom! We know Etsuko Fuyura for their modern patterns inspired by nature. We only just discovered their foray into vehicular prints. Judiciously used, say in a quilt or on cushions, these fabrics would be a fun way to decorate a room for your favorite vehicle-obsessed little girl or boy without having to resort to Cars-themed paraphernalia.

etsuko-bottom.jpgWe like the crisp blend of 45% cotton and 55% linen, as well as the fact that each print comes in vintage hues like teal, mustard, and magenta.

(And here's a hint: If you don't quilt, the blocked patterns in the scooter and airplane prints provide an easy cheat.)

I discovered Etsuko Furaya stuff when we were living in Japan last year, left the country with many yards (at half the price) and then was horrified to see them for sale here! Boo!!!

But the cars are darling. If they were not so expensive, I would do big curtains in my little boys room with them.
