We wish we could spruce up a nursery by painting freehand like this. A while ago, Brian, a local Brooklyn artist, surprised his wife Abbie with these playful paintings on the walls of their baby's future room.
Look! Art Covered Walls
One wall has faces and the other wall has animals like this guy with wings. It's amazing how cheerful and fun this small room became with just the addition of the small paintings.

I love these...it's a toss up between a hand painted mural or the Owl chalkboard decals from Moderndose.com for our new son's nursery.
