Simple, cheap and not bad looking. Not to mention putting wire hangers, of which you no doubt have oodles, to good use.

We saw this idea by Ana Maria of SuperZiper (whose blog is in Portuguese) on Craft and were struck by what a simply good idea it was. Ana uses it near her door to hold library books and we can think of lots of other landing strip uses - scarves, a folder of outgoing mail, magazines, etc. Or how about next to a child's bed to hold the book du jour.
What uses can you think of? Let us know if you try it out.
not bad at all, cool

Sweet! I've been trying to think of a good way to display a few books by my daughter's bed. This might work. I would definitely cover the wire with some padding and fabric, though.

cool to see our book rack here ! i just want to add that we think the color of the hanger we have chosen makes it particularly pretty.
the project it would not have the same visual effect if was just a metal color hanger. we are lucky to get free orange ones from local dry cleaners :)
