While we were searching through Flickr this morning we came across a great little curio shelf that was created by a mother for her son starting at 4 years old. Click through the jump to see some of the highlights of this wonderfully organized and displayed collection...
Built into this shelf are the names of the child (Eric) and his parents (Jack and Becky), in vintage play blocks. If you look close, there are movie tickets, action figures and small wooden carvings. Get the full low down (although the descriptions are still in progress) over on Flickr! It's a great way to keep collections small and evolving with your child. Plus it's nice to have a display for things that don't always fit in a scrap book!
Thanks Eric!

Does anyone know where I can find a curio shelf like that? I have so many little things I've collected and I think it would be a great way to display them. Of course I should probably secure everything with museum wax since I live over an active fault ;-)

Oh, no, don't tell me printers' boxes are back in style. I freecycled mine from the 80's last year!
