Look! Cute and Easy DIY Play Stove

031509-play-stove-1.jpgWe see lots of great homemade play kitchens here at Ohdeedoh, some of which are a bit more labor- and skill-intensive than others. This great little stove, sent in by reader Candice, wins full points for being cute, easy, and do-able using stuff you probably already have around your house. Read on for her materials list and instructions.

031509-play-stove-2.jpgCandice tells us:

I made the stove out of an empty nappy box (the Huggies bulk size). All I did was cover it with white paper (from a roll of paper I bought from Ikea for the easel), cut out the circle shapes with a punch and the square shapes with a guillotine. Stick them on and cover with some thick contact plastic (sticky stuff you can cover school books with apparently), then added two hooks on the side for the utensils and he’s happy!

Thanks for sharing, Candice!
