We loved getting a quick peek into Heather Armstrong's (a.k.a. Dooce) daughter's spacious room. With baby #2 on the way, Heather recently showed off her combination nursery/guestroom.

We're impressed with the room's beauty and practicality. When used solely as a nursery, the full-sized bed works well for those late night feedings. When baby is older, it's a great comfortable place to snuggle and read books before bed time. See more wonderful pictures of this sweet combination room at her blog.

Very livable. Love the Charlie Harper prints over the crib. And a great color scheme.

You could use it to spread on the floor for tummy time, as a stroller blanket, as an extra-big blanket over the car seat while going out. We don't have a crib quilt, but I received two large blankets as baby gifts, and I've used them quite a bit. One's really a picnic/beach blanket that comes with its own tote but I use it a lot. Right now it's the base of the "baby jail"--we have one of those large fenced baby enclosures instead of a playpen or pack-n-play. It's just nicer and softer than the carpet.

I second Pencils comments on the crib quilt. We used it for all of those things and now that my daughter's 1 and still in the crib, she actually uses it as a quilt to sleep under.
This room is definitely cute! Love the bedding.

I love Dooce...been following her for a while now...very talented lady indeed. I think my favorite thing in the room is the sheep mobile.
