Look!: Easy Preschool Ornament

Look-ornament-preschool.jpg

Our son recently came home with a homemade ornament for our holiday tree. Everyone in his preschool class made one, and it was quite easy and fun for them to do.

The "gingerbread" house was made using Crayola Model Magic which a grown up rolled and flatted out. A cookie cutter was then used to cut out the house and it was allowed to air dry for 24 hours.

Afterwards, the children were presented with glitter glue and an assortment of winter-themed decorations like miniature gingerbread men, candy canes, boots and mittens.

Once the children finished decorating their houses and it was completely dried, a hole was punched at the top to run a ribbon through.

We thought this idea was so cute and easy, we're going to buy some supplies to make several of these at home.

There was a bug which was removing certain photos, but the post seems to be working again.
