When last we saw Emmett's room, we were admiring the great balance between modern pieces and vintage touches throughout the room. Recently, his room received a bit of a switcheroo -- it was moved to a new room altogether, and with a few accessories changes a new look was pulled together.
We love the farm house by Melissa and Doug and keep admiring the painting on the mantel. This room is a perfect example of how you don't have to spend a lot to change the look or feel of a room. This appeals to Emmett's new growing sensibilities, while still utilizing many of the items from his "younger" days.

:) Thanks so much for your comments! The crib is from Walmart (my parents bought it for us as a gift) and, to be honest, it actually hasn't held up very well at all. It's part of their Roxanne collection. The map is screwed into the window frame and works great!
