Look! Finger Puppet Display

2009-4-puppets2.jpg

We received these beautiful finger puppets as a gift recently and thought it was a shame to put them away in a drawer until we wanted to play with them. We had a few empty vases hanging around (who doesn't, right?) so just slipped them onto chopsticks and voila!

We were thinking this would also be a playful way to give finger puppets as a gift. You could put them all in a large, tall vase or attractive cup and tie a ribbon around it for a finger puppet bouquet, no watering required.

Hey! We have that giraffe kicking around our house too! Along with a couple of other animals (elephant? and?). We got them as a birthday present. Are they by blabla? Have always wondered about the source.

Cute! And I see that we have the same taste in vases. Or should I say super expensive Vaaaah-ses?

I have one of those finger puppets. I slipped him over a clothespin and he leans on our picture rail.

I have a ton of these cute finger puppets in a wooden spice rack hanging on the wall in my daughter's room-- it looks like a bunch of diamonds and I think it came from the Container Store. Instead of storing little spice jars, now it's like a dollhouse for the puppets-- good fun for her to tuck each one into its own "room" when done playing with them. And it looks super cute.
