This nursery photo caught our eye in a recent post on ATLA about Australian designer Greg Natale. We wanted to know more so we Googled around a bit and learned that the pattern is that of renowned fellow Aussie Florence Broadhurst.
If you're not familiar with Florence Broadhurst's work, you can see a large selection of wallpaper and textile patterns at Signature Prints the custodians of her famed collection.
Natale was hired to decorate a 1940s bungalow in Sydney using a different Broadhurst pattern in each room. Above is another from the same house.
We're wondering what you think of using one pattern throughout a room in this way? Too much? Fine if you really luv the pattern?
I love Florence Broadhurst but I must admit my preference is for more restrained use of pattern.

Love it. Makes a big first impression and then is actually easy on the eye and rather minimalist once you're used to it. It's matchy-matchy only in the way that an all neutral or all white room is.
