The Barkers thought this piece would be ideal since it was thicker. During the process it still had pieces that came off, so they suggest doing this activity outside (unless it's windy) to help save you from vacuuming.

The collected up all the bits of yarn they had lying around and started wrapping. They discovered that as long as they kept the string taught it would dig into the sides and kept the yarn from sliding off. They enlarged a hole which a branch had made, allowing the string to be wrapped through the middle as well.

Because the whole piece is light, even though it's large, it's able to be hung directly on the wall without any problems or concern of it falling off and bonking anyone or anything on the head. It's a great way to reuse the massive amounts of packaging that come in boxes these days and gives idle hands something to do with their time!
