This has been the come back year for wallpaper and wallcoverings. Just when we thought we were getting a bit tired of seeing it everywhere, we came upon this gold and cream wallpaper on Project Nursery.

The room is very formal -- the color scheme, the furniture, the long drapes and sheers, the ornate crown molding. But the sweet hugging bears in metallic gold makes it young and well-suited for a baby.

gorgeous!

wow! That's what my nursery would look like if money were no object (and I lived in a huge mansion with high ceilings and chandeliers in every room). It's still gorgeous even if it's a bit formal.

It's pretty but way too frou frou for my taste.

Love it. Altho it sort of look like a set. Floors don't seem to go with house.
But I want that crib!
Is there anywhere I can get a smaller-sized/mini crib that doesn't looks so blah? Even a mini jenny lind would be great. I only see the very plain and kinda cheap looking ones OR ones that have a higher side and a lower side that you use pressed up against a wall and I can't use that.

i'm pretty sure i dont like this room AT ALL... there's nothing visual for a little baby's eyes to focus on... it's light and airy, dreamy even... but nothing childlike or fun. nothing warm or playful about this.... it's kind of sad altho very pretty

It's all about the parents, and not the baby...
(those bars on the bassinet look too wide to meet current safety standards)

oh, I can imagine a baby liking the light that crystal chandelier is throwing off as much as a Where The Wild Things Are mural...
