We love the dove grey bunkbeds and light grey and white backdrop. The colorful felted ball rug really stands out in the room. Any other lovers of grey for the nursery out there?

So pretty - and I love the pom pom rug! Anyone have ideas on where to find it?

i want to paint my daughter's room gray, going for a whole gray-yellow-pink/purple thing, but it's kind of a dark room, does anyone have a suggestions for a shade of gray that could actually brighten a room?
thank you!!

J,
If you use a satin (or glossier) finish of paint, it should help reflect the light and make it brighter than an eggshell or flat finish.
I learned this with a green powder room that turned out looking ELECTRIC thanks to the satin finish! Yikes.

The rug... the rug.... so pretty, where did it come from?
It's funny how these posts will point out one thing about the room and half of us will be wondering where the rug/lamp/curtains came from... teehee

Love this room! And just the right splash of color to liven it up.

I painted my nursery BM "Gray Horse" and LOVE the color. It's perfect in the room (only on two walls, others are still white). My furniture is white and I have various shades of green for accents and a few pops of orange here and there.

never mind the rug. I can't recall who makes it, but it's a high-end rug designer and the darned thing costs well over $1k.... sigh. I love those pom pom rugs.
we are very pro-grey... silver grey is the perfect complement to white nursery furniture, especially when there are brightly colored accents about.

We did a grey bedroom here. We had to put a boy and girl in one room so I figured a light grey would be a great medium and their bed linens with pops of color can be more personal to them. Everyone loved it.

My daughter's room is Benjamin Moore Titanium. It has a touch of green in it, and it's pretty light. We love it.

Ohhh, very nice room. I love this clean and sophisticated look. And I love that grey bed, I think is the "Kura" bed from Ikea.

We have the exact same Ikea rocking horse but ours in black and red and I am not that crazy about it but I am loving that they painted it white. Maybe I should paint ours white......hmmmmmm. I wonder if I would have to sand it or if I could just go ahead and paint over?

I think the rug is called Pinocchio, and it is manufactured by a Danish company called Hay. I found it in couple of places:
