There's something about the Gulliver crib that seems to inspire creativity. Emma sent us some photos of the beautiful job she and her husband did of converting a Gulliver into a piece that looks straight from a design showroom floor. Try to guess what they used for the headboard and footboard.
Says Emma of her Litto-esque creation:
We used the walnut from the old tables at our restaurant, added legs from a coffee table we weren't using, and the sides from an Ikea Gulliver crib. The walnut was sanded and finished with tung oil. Baby Audrey is rather pleased with the finished effect!
Baby Audrey clearly has great taste, just like her parents!

maybe it's hard to appreciate the wood from the photos, but this is doesn't look like anything special to me. the metal legs are too industrial looking.

I just wonder about federal safety regulations. After altering a crib like this, does it still meet the safety standards?
