Look! IKEA Kitchen Cart Changing Table

2007-09-11-flytta.jpg

Not quite a hack. More of a re-purpose. We saw this IKEA Flytta Kitchen Cart turned changing table on Daddytypes and had to share. It has an industrial, almost clinical (in a good way), look.

The parents kitted it out with wire baskets and galvanized bins to hold diapers, ointments and other sundries.

Check out his other post about tool carts as changing tables. The three-tiered red steel tool cart is from Harbor Freight ($49.99).

Very cool idea! I love it!

I'm regretting getting a changing table for our daughter, but since it was purchased for us by the great grandmother, we didn't have much choice. I guess it'll be passed down to our next child.

I used a three shelf chrome unit from target. It keeps it super modern and can be used as a bookshelf later on or be put back into the kitchen (where we scavenged it from!)
