Hello yourself, Jasper! Didn't we meet at that pharmaceutical convention in Phoenix last year? Remember this little guy from his birthday shout-out last month? His mom sent back a report on his fun birthday party complete with gifts she designed for all the kids. Read on to see how she did it.
Jasper's mom, Florence, wanted to include a homemade gift in the goody bag of each little partygoer. Since she's a graphic designer, she whipped up HELLO graphics in multiple colors using Illustrator, making matching shirts for siblings.
She printed the graphics onto iron-on paper and ironed them onto blank tees. A simple project with impressive results.
You don't need to be an expert graphics designer to make something similar. You could even draw a design, scan it and print it out. What a nice way for each child to have something to remember Jasper's party by and for hobnobbing at their next social engagment!

For my daughters fifth birthday, we had each kid make a silly face or strike a pose or whatever took their fancy. While I was playing games and doing birthday cake, my mother printed out the images and ironed them on to plain white tees. The kids were thrilled and I still see the shirts on the play ground.

That’s a great idea, I once used a bunch of promotional mugs I had received from work and added my own designs to them for my daughters birthday party. I think I will try t-shirts this year!
