Welcome to Jeanine!

Hi- we just moved and this was our old half bathroom, I was so sad to leave it! We painted it in chalkboard paint and our son was potty trained in it. Every time he, well you know, we wrote a made up train station for him on the wall. He was so motivated he was potty trained in only a few weeks! You can see to the left of the mirror our list of:...

1. PEE/POOP
2. FLUSH
3. WASH OUR HANDS
4. DRY OUR HANDS.
And you can also see a few quotes from him: "Mommy, you are an excellent eater" and "What's infinity plus infinity?"

We used Benjamin Moore Chalkboard paint on the walls and Benjamin Moore "Red" metallic high gloss paint on the radiator. The soap dispensor is "Mr. Cold" by Alessi. The light with the flower drawn around it in chalk is a Foscarini light, can't remember the name. The mirror is a Minimal mirror from DWR.

I would have taken a better photo but we just moved ;-(. So sorry for my hairclip on the radiator and all of the toothbrushes lying around.

Best, Jeanine, Massachusetts.

I love this! It's attractive and fun, not only for kids but for guests too. Maybe you'll end up recreating this in your new home?

This is such a creative bathroom! Most kids have an "instinct" to draw on walls, now this is a perfect compromise. I have never seen this done in a bathroom before- very inspiring! Thanks for sharing!

As a mom of two, I know how much my kids would love a bathroom like this. It manages to be kid friendly, but look great at the same time.

I wouldn't decorate my bathroom like that and it doesn't look motivating to me. I rather have a clean sparkling bathroom, new shower, new sink, new bathroom vanities and a lot of space around me.
