Look! Kids Hand and Foot Print Garland

After reading our post about fun variations on the pennant trend, Ohdeedoh reader Shelley wrote in to point us toward this cute version, featuring handprints and footprints. Our favorite thing about this banner? The fact that it's a shared effort by two sisters. Awww...

In her inaugural Instructables tutorial, Yourimpactmatters explains how you can use craft paints, cardstock, ribbon, beads, and, of course, one or two small volunteers, to make a sweet, very personalized banner. She does not, however, explain how to wrangle two paint-covered children simultaneously.

It would be really cute to make a hand-print every year and add to the garland. Would make for a lovely keepsake! They could be laminated to last through the years.

eastwest... i was just going to say... this gave me such a good idea for adding a hand print each b'day to the banner i'm making (w/felt)... i think felt will hold up better than paper. SO excited!!!!
