We strive for order - there's a calm in the evening when the kids are asleep and the toys are all put away. But there's something about this room that we love. All of the toys are out of their hiding places, the bed has been slept in, the chair has been pulled away from the desk.
It's a room in action, a room enjoyed. And it's what our house looks like for most of the day. You can just imagine that in this well-designed room, it takes just a few scoops to put the toys back into the large underbed drawers and all is orderly again.

I love it. You need chaos to appreciate order and organization. Kids should be kids, and cleaning up can be a good way to earn rewards.
