We made the lamp in the corner by attaching 4 round paper lanterns in a column. The Roman shades are Mod Green Pod's Grand Jubilee in Chocolate.
My daughter learned how to embroider at her Montessori school when she was only 4 and last summer, she designed and stitched the piece on a throw pillow. She and I made the bunny and the cat together.
Cute! If someone had offered me that room as a child, I would have rethought my hatred of pink.
IKEA makes total sense for kids' rooms. It's adaptable as they grow, has a gratifyingly low cost per cubic foot of useful storage, provides simple shapes to keep clean, and is unremittingly cheerful.

Great room. But I'm confused. How can someone so dedicated to organic cotton fabrics with clean inks fill their kid's room with ikea furniture which is primarily made of mdf with all sorts of yucky glues and coatings? Just curious...
