Another great email proving the wonderful flexibilty of New Yorkers:
Dear AT, I'm responding to your call for nursery decor ideas. Actually, what I'd like to share with is not technically a nursery, but my bedroom which I will share with my baby boy (in about, oh, three-four weeks!) I thought that it might be helpful for people discuss ways to fit baby into smaller spaces--such as a one-bedroom apartment....

Here's the changing table.

Also, the crib is from Morigueau and is available at Schneiders. It's quite modern, but I made it a softer (to my taste) with a white chenille bumper and cribskirt.
(Thanks, Susan!)

One word of caution. As the baby gets older, it's probably a good idea to move the crib away from the curtains/blinds as the curtains and cords can become choking hazards.

In my experience, the crib progressively inches its way towards the bed, depending on how sleep-deprived mum is feeling. :-)

A beautiful room, but you might want to reconsider putting the crib right under the air conditioner because of the cold air blowing right on the baby.

Don't worry--all this issues have been addressed since this was orginally posted on AT before my son was born. He's five months old now and the crib is away from the window and he's nice and safe.
