Homemade touches often make party favors more memorable. For our son's birthday party, we bought plain colored take-out boxes from our local craft store and then glued foam letters on each one.

Homemade touches often make party favors more memorable. For our son's birthday party, we bought plain colored take-out boxes from our local craft store and then glued foam letters on each one.
Each child received a box with their initial and the parents remarked on how thoughtful the goody bags were. With minimal work, everyone was happy.
Be sure to keep extra blank boxes and letters handy, in case additional invitees show up.
