You probably remember the Martha Stewart Pom Poms from this nursery tour. Well, we were eager to try to make them ourselves, and once we got started- we couldn't stop!

The tissue paper pom poms are so easy to make, and they really add a burst of color to a room or a party.
We used the simple instructions here, and we tried using pipe cleaners instead of floral wire, and it worked just fine. We also tried all different sizes, numbers of layers, and different shapes.
Make a bunch of pom poms this weekend in Fall colors and string them up around the house!
these are the best decorations to use at a shower or even for a kids' party...they are fun to make with your own kids beforehand, and the kids at the party always love to take them home and decorate their rooms.

I love these. I just made some for my daughter's room and hung them in one corner with fishing line. They add the right amount of color, fun and whimsy. These can be used for so much!

Instead of using tissue paper I've made the flowers with plastic grocery bags - one more idea on how to reuse them. Somehow even with my canvas bags I always end up with some!

I've used these before for parties and I love them! So easy, cute and colorful, and you can tailor them to fit any scheme.

Just made a bunch for my baby's first birthday. They're so pretty - but I'm having trouble fixing the fishing line to the ceiling. (used a few kinds of tape to no avail) Anyone have any tips?
