Good Idea: Wall Alphabet

While there is no shortage of good-looking alphabet posters available, why not skip the poster and go for the actual letters themselves.

For the collectors among you, start collecting your A to Zs in different shapes, colors, sizes and materials. Then do a creative installation on your child's wall. It gives you dimension, color and a focal point instantly.

That's really neat--and if it's not too much extra work, make sure that the child's initials are the biggest or most obvious of the letters. Luckily, my daughter's first initial is "A" so it would be easy to make it stand out anyway.

this is such a cool baby shower gift idea. have everyone bring/send a certain letter. the giftee would be free to chose which ones to use for the wall. it could be a work in progress, adding as you find/collect the ones you love.
