Where the Wild Things Are. Our own art skills are so limited that we admit to being easily impressed, but we're really in awe of this Sendak-inspired wall mural. Surprisingly it wasn't created for a children's room, but the artist did get some help from a few kids.
Redforkhippie sketched out the design on the wall of her home office and then outlined each colored area with paint. This was enough guidance for her friend's two children to help out in an almost paint-by-numbers fashion. It still looks to be way more than we could ever accomplish, but seeing it as a work-in-progress makes it slightly less intimidating.

That is SO freakin' awesome.

Gorgeous. My 2 year old ran over to see it when it came up on the computer screen, too. He loves Where the Wild Things Are.
