Lately we've seen lots of nurseries featuring trees and tree branches. You can get the look using paint, wall decals, wallpaper, or shelving. Here's another way to build on a tree theme.

French stylist Camille Soulayrol created this tree focal point. Get the same look by nailing scrap wood pieces directly to the wall. Affix some hooks to make it a functional piece of hanging towels, coats or accessories.

You just made my life so much easier. I have long wanted a tree in my foyer for hanging mittens, hats, etc. But I was thinking I'd do something like the one in the first photo of this post:

which I love, but I can't figure out how to achieve (step one: chop down a tree?).
I hadn't thought about a 2-dimensional tree. Brilliant.

I just did a similar version of this in my homeschool room next to our sliding glass door and I thought I would share it with you all:

I love your ideas and have used several of them lately with our new house. Thanks for all the inspiration!
