Flatshare Fridge

We're enamored with this modular refrigerator concept. It's called the Flatshare Fridge, a finalist in the Electrolux Design Lab 2008 competition.

It is designed for those sharing a living space. So many conflicts originate out of the kitchen, especially the refrigerator. With the Flatshare, each person has their own modular refrigerator that stack on top of one another. They're even portable. We think this is a great concept for a family - everyone's favorite drinks and snacks goes into their own unit. The youngest member of the family gets the bottom module. The modules can even be customized with their own skins (including a white board).

i can't remember where i saw it, but it may have been well over a year ago. modular fridge, but maximize the type of storage that you wanted - there were wine compartments, square boxes, freezer compartments and various assortments of shelf thingies
