While we enjoy browsing Williams-Sonoma's cute baking accessories (like their plethora of cake pans: acorn, beehive and train to name a few), we just can't justify the cabinet space for something that will be lucky to be used more than once a year. But their message-in-a-cookie cutters are so versatile that we just might take the plunge.
The ability to personalize your own message opens up a lot of possibilities including holidays, birthdays, or if you're a bit nuts (in a good way) stamping each child's name at a party or in a classroom. The only downside we can think of is you'll want to minimize icing in order to read the message. But, hey, cookies are sweet enough on their own, aren't they?
Find them here ($20).

love these!

you could probably ice them with a thin glaze. It'd be cute to if it was a different color than the cookie, pooling in the letters.

(Those are my fat cells plumping out, just thinking about all the cookies I would find an excuse to make with these!! Brilliant idea.)

Oooh. Tempting. But then I'm an easy mark, I own the beehive pan. And others.

cute! although some of the cookies in the video clip have way too much food coloring in them.

Okay, so love these. In our last move I decided to start "fresh" and got rid of almost all of my beloved baking fun items. I kept one cookie cutter out of about 100- a dog bone. You'd be surprised what you can make it look like when you lop off a part here or there-some great looking cookies and some very inappropriate looking ones. Perhaps it's time to slowly build back up starting with this! A dog bone, really? That was the ONE I kept?
