Picnic Set by French Bull

2009-05-07-picnic.jpg

Once the rain lets up, we're heading outdoors for a low-key picnic. We usually make do with our small cooler and tin foil wrapped food items, but we'd love a nifty set like this one by French Bull.

The set comes in a heavy duty backpack that has insulated food and drink compartments. You get four each of the following: cotton napkins, assorted dinner plates, plastic cutting board, salt & pepper shakers, cups, cork screw, and bottle opener. It even comes with an oversized picnic blanket. Makes a nice Mother's Day gift (hint, hint).

The are adorable and the packing is clever.
We like to use Kids Konserve Party Paks for picnics.

Ouch. Lovely, but at $150 on the cheep side, isn't going to happen anytime soon. I think I can assemble all the basic ingredients and make one at home.
