Boon Feeding Line

2007_08_30_boon_feeding.jpg

A Boon to small eaters. It's not often we see actual innovation with serving utensils, but Boon's new feeding line (available in October) offers plenty. The Squirt (upper right) makes one-handed feeding a cinch by dispensing one mouthful of food at a time. The Catch Bowl (lower left) stays in place with a suction cup and has an extended lip to corral flyaway food and spills.

Benders (upper left) were designed for first-time eaters who are just learning to grip their forks and spoons. The heads can be bent at comfortable angles and, as the child improves, straightened out. When they graduate from Benders, kids can move on to comfort-grip ModWare (lower right).

Boon has also added a sippy cup (Fluid) and travel snack container (Snack Ball) to their feeding line.

Rounding out the collection is this interlocking plate and bowl system called Groovy.

Available from Boon in October (which suddenly seems really far away.)

It's wrong that I am considering having another child just so I can get all the pretty new accoutrement, right?

The angled spoons and forks aren't really innovations...they've been around for a long time as adapted feeding devices for people with limited mobility. Cool regardless...

I wonder if they're going to do a lefty set?

Benders actually bend to adapt to each individual so they can be for left or right handers.

FYI - the super groovy Boon highchair is available at Costco.com. They also carry the Frog Pod and the potty. Gotta love Costco!

Do you meant that Costco carry the Groovy Boon Plate and Bowl system? Or do they carry the Flair highchair?
