Although we're not believers in putting on a dog and pony show to get your kids to eat, we are willing to believe that picky pre-schoolers may be more likely to eat if their food looks like dogs and ponies. And while we can't imagine concocting culinary creations like this every day, it might be fun for special occasions.
Funky Lunches is a newish website offering inspiration for making fun, visually delightful lunches for kids. For now they have a gallery of ideas to look at and their goal is to someday publish a book dedicated to funky lunches. You can check them out here.

AAAAAA! i love these and would totally buy that book. it would be cute to see them themed for parties etc. because i think that is when you would feel motivated to whip these up!

aww lollipop dont be discouraged. my fondest memories were when my parents made some silly foods. perhaps on the kids birthdays??? just once? try it ? PLEASE!

fabulous!! but time consuming! love Charlie & Lola, but alas, i am not artistic. if i tried to make them they would surely resemble some sort of picasso gone wrong!
