Sweet Pea 3 MP3 Player

071309sweetpea.jpgSure, there are tons of practical things you've got to remember to pack before traveling, but there are also those fun things that are just as important because they keep little ones entertained. The Sweet Pea3 has a big chunky handle, and apparently, can take a lot of abuse, so it's perfect for little ones on the move.

071309sweetpea2.jpgWe just ordered the Sweet Pea 3 for our 9 month old who loves music, and we haven't received it yet, so we can't give a full review, but Zrecommends has a nice review of it.

A few of the features we liked:
• Volume control
• Rubberized outer shell
• Built in speaker
• Completely safe materials
• Comes preloaded with music from Susie Tallman & Friends and storyteller, Jim Weiss

You can read more about, or order your Sweet Pea 3 (comes in lavender or blue) here.

Our son (20 months) LOVES this. You can program up to three playlists, so you can make a playlist for nighttime, another one for dancing and wiggling, etc. (It even comes pre-programmed with some music that is shockingly not that terrible.) The sound quality is pretty good, considering it's basically a toy, and I like that the volume is easy to control. I would recommend this as a terrific baby shower gift.
