My Party: Jackson

Of all the wonderful things at Jackson's first birthday, the photobackdrop is a hands down winner and an idea worth stealing. Chiara describes the festivities: We had a great birthday party for Jackson. His bright cake was based on a Crazy Carousel cake from Cookie Magazine...


 
 

A pack of scrap-booking paper produced paper hats, garland, and hanging "1's" scattered from the ceiling. And I painted a landscape back-drop which said "Jackson's 1st Birthday" - and we had every guest hold Jackson for a photo in front of it. I later made a photo book with all the pictures. Jackson was definitely overwhelmed by all the fuss and activity but it was a fantastic party.

Looks like a great party! I really love the photo background and how you had everyone take pictures with Jackson in front of it. I also love the happy birthday banner! I'm already planning my 8 month old's 1st birthday party, and I'm definitely going to steal those ideas!
