You did it. You managed to make it work - somehow you figured out the sleeping, feeding, bathing, diapering and, of course, squeezed in room to play within your small space.
Starting on Monday March 19th we will begin accepting submissions for our first contest on AT:The Nursery, in which we take the Smallest Coolest Contest and make it "family-friendly".
We're going a bit bigger (1000 sq. feet is the max) and are looking for smart, budget-friendly, long-lasting (and beautiful) solutions to the challenges of raising children in a small, cool home.

1000 sq ft? That sounds spacious... luxurious even.
Oh, the things we would do with an extra 350 square feet.... Sigh...
yeah, even with three kids, 1000 sqft is but a moderate challenge.
loki
yay! I look forward to this! I think it's a good idea to allow submissions up to 1000 sf because that will mean that we will see more homes. Plus some people scrape by in tiny apts when their children are tiny but move into bigger homes when their children are older - I would like to see those homes where children actually need significant amounts of space for sleeping, playing, etc.
We have 1000 sf for a family of four, but we will soon be doing a big rearrange to liberate more space for the children to use (while still maintaining two home-based businesses that need a fair amount of space). I look forward to inspiration!
But 1000 is NOT small. Cool, yes. Small? No.
SMALLEST? Definitely not.
