Great News! Our first ever smallest coolest contest has a new deadline, so if you haven't entered yet, there is still time! The new deadline for submissions to the 2007 Smallest Coolest Contest is midnight(EST) Monday, April 16th.
Is it the pictures that are keeping you from submitting? Jill over on AT:NY wrote a really helpful post on how to take great photos of your home. Our contest partner is Argington (that is Argington's Delphi changing table and Sahara crib, above), and the prizes are pretty fabu, so don't be shy, because you have nothing to lose by entering!
Keep tagging your Flickr photos with apartmenttherapynursery so that we can show our community your great designs and ideas. Speaking of community, it is great to see so many registered users on the new comments system! Thanks for all your great tips and comments - we are really enjoying tthis wonderful community that we are all building together, and we hope that you are as well!

This is the site I come to most on AT (ATNY second) because I live in an area that doesn't really fit into any other AT category. Plus, I have a baby and love to see what you all come up with.
I thought at first that I would enter the smallest coolest contest here, in the nursery, but what's keeping me from entering here is:
"We are seeking the 20 most ingenious and beautiful submissions of SINGLE rooms along with all the tips and resources we could all use to improve our own children's rooms".
Maybe I just don't understand what you are really looking for. You want 3 pics of a single room? We don't have a nursery and we haven't done anything ingenious to make our apt work for our 7month old. We haven't really had to yet.
This also put me off: "Longevity/décor that will transition as the children grow." We don't have things like that really- we are students with a Graco port-a-cib. Not real impressive.
Last, call me pessimistic, but I don't think my chances were great, so I thought at least I could win an AT book from the other contest. Here it's kind of all or nothing.
Just some thoughts so you have an idea of what someone might be feeling in regard to the contest. Hope that helps and thanks for all the work and energy you put into this site!

Dear K,
We have tried to be specific and helpful, not to put anyone off. We wanted folks to know that we didn't expect everyone to have a perfect nursery in a separate room. Some people have their kids in their bedroom, etc...
If you love what you've done, take your pics (3 is good so we can see it all) and send them in!
