Looking for the latest in space-saving design? Every April, at the Salone Satellite in Milan, the German magazine- Design Report- recognizes the most promising newcomer in design. This year Stephen Procter's unique range of children's products won him the prize. They're minimalist design is one of the most collapsible we've seen.
Stephen had designed for Australian companies, but only recently started designing children's products after he was inspired by his daughter.
Check out this stroller and the high chair above. We love the black and white, and it looks like you could probably fit them both in the closet when they're not in use. We haven't seen these for sale online yet, but we'll keep on the lookout!
Thanks to Susanne over at Architonic for the tip!

I'd be curious on how stable the high chair is. Very sleek but looks like it could tip very easily.

I LOVE that high chair! I'm in the market for high chair right now. Anyone know of another good one (or booster seat) that looks good and isn't too pricey. (does that exist??)

Somsak,
I have the Svan highchair in cherry. I'm not sure what your budget is. It was just over $200 including the seat cushion. We love it and it's held up well for the past two years. It also grows with the child and has a really small footprint which was important in our small kitchen.

Somsak,
We have the Geuther Family high chair, which is a similar profile to the folding one, above. (It doesn't fold, though.) It's similar to the Svan, price-wise, but a better looking design in my opinion. I also like that the tray slides in and out easily with one hand. But, the thing that really sold me is that it comes with so many options for trim colors. We have the natural with orange trim and it blends right in to our mid-century modern ranch. We have not found that we need a cushion for it. http://www.highchairs.com/Geuther-Family-Chair.pro#specs (It looks like it now comes in white lacquer...cool!)
We got this chair for our second child after using a standard plastic one for our first and hating it. Wooden chairs are so much easier to clean, not nearly so many cracks and crevices, and smaller or younger babies learn to self-feed easier because the tray and seat fit them better.

The Ikea Antilop, at around $20, is the best value in high chairs that I've ever seen. Plus you can take off the legs and put the seat in the dishwasher. Our son got tired of having his feet dangle and having to be lifted into it at about 18 months though. We switched to the Tripp Trapp, which he can climb on his own and which is 10x more expensive. Personally I thought $200 was very expensive, but at least it's versatile--it adjusts in size as the kid grows and can also be reconfigured into an adult-sized chair.
