Starting TOMORROW, Ohdeedoh follows up on the classic Apartment Therapy "Small Cool" contest - we're going to kick off another small cool, and this time it's family-style! If you live in a home that is 1000 sq. feet or under with a child (or 2, 3, 4 or more) then this is the contest for you. If you are thinking about entering, you may want to get out the camera and take a few photos this weekend...

We are looking for babies rooms (ages 0-3), kids rooms (ages 3-6) and big kids rooms (ages 6 and up) - single or shared rooms are both welcome; we'll categorize by the age of the oldest child using the room. The reader favorites in each of these three categories will be included in a final vote-off for prizes from the earth (and child) -friendly shop Green Depot.
We'll be accepting entries beginning tomorrow, Friday May 1 and will be asking for 5 photos of your child(ren)'s room...so get snapping! To help out, here are some good photo-taking tips for interiors.
Any questions? Ask away in comments or send us an email.

I just stumbled on the post from a couple of weeks ago announcing this was coming up and commented over there. That's my kids' room last year!
It would be fun outside of a contest setting to do some family-focused house tours really showing how families live happily in small spaces.

Thanks Katie! I just added a link to your Small Cool Entry from last year to the above post.

I'm so excited about this! :) Will there be a deadline? We are waiting for my Dad to finish her changing tray (similar to the Oeuf one--we were really inspired by Burton) so we won't have pictures ready yet on May 1st.
Thanks!

Why does the size of the home matter if only the bedrooms are being judged?

Darn...maybe they'll have a 'just barely bigger than small' contest soon? My house is just barely bigger than 1000 sq. feet. "Awe shucks" as my daughter would say!
