2007-06-20-logo 3r.jpg Reduce. Reuse. Recycle. Those are of course, the 3R's in this Brooklyn store's name. We needed to pick up a few eco-friendly cleaning products today- so we headed over to 3R. The shop itself is tiny, but we somehow found a way to browse for at least 30 minutes!

2007-06-20-car seat cover.jpgIt feels like every item in this store is selected very carefully, and you won't necessarily find them anywhere else.

We realized they also have a great baby/kids section, so we had to let you in on it.

Check out this funky and formaldehyde-free car seat cover.

If you need any green cleaning products- this is the place. We picked up this little bottle of Oxy Grout Grout Cleaner . It's got the power of Oxygen bleach, but no harsh chemicals or fumes.

They also carry the Erbaviva Line - one of the mildest products you'll find for baby. (Or you!)

Kids who are a bit older will love their craft kits like this one that lets them make their own chewing gum while teaching them the importance of the Rainforests.

There's a lot more to browse through on their website . Samantha Delman-Caserta, who opened the store along with her husband Mark, is both knowledgable and friendly, so if you're in the Brooklyn area- stop in!

How about we all move to Brooklyn, eat leaves, and sleep on our parents' stacks of money?

the whole mission behind making this planet a greener and better place for us, our children & future generations is honorable. i'm no tree-hugger, and i've never heard of this store, but i think it's great that people are concerned about the environment
