2007-04-11-logo.jpg Bu and the Duck is the perfect store if you're looking for something special- a gift maybe, or something you want to pass down for generations. If you can't make it to NYC, their online store is almost as fun. The website's charming design displays products like favorite photographs hanging in vintage frames.

The selection of dolls at the store is small, but each one is special. Remember Raggedy Ann? She's handcrafted. The crochet toys are also a joy. They include George the Giraffe and Stan the Man.

We haven't seen blankets quite like these anywhere else. These are the blankets your grandmother or great grandmother might've made. Choose from an Alpaca Afghan, Cotton Afghan, or a Toy Crochet Blanket. Any of these would make a beautiful heirloom to pass down in the family.

If you're looking for a special design for your crib sheets- these are all designed by Bu and the Duck. Made of 100% Italian pima cotton, they're available in four styles. We like the Celadon Stripe.

And if you're looking for some special artwork for your nursery- check out the "Natasha's Notebook" collages. These are quite striking and the description says it all really: "Victorian, bohemian fairy tale prints embellished with fine silks, antique filligrees and touches of glitter."
