Other favorite nursery from the contest: My favorite of the finalists is Sam's getaway, if for no other reason than they have the sputnik lamp my wife wouldn't let me put in our nursery. That and chocolate brown is a favorite color of ours.

In your child's room, tell us about and show us your favorite colorful object?:
Our favorite object has to be the pink Go-Go's concert poster, because it's just as fun for us to look at as it will be for Harriet, and was a gift from a local artist

I LOVE the Owl Lamp! I also love all of the dark wood...around the windows, on the floor and especially the ceiling! The wood with the green and the hint of Salmon really make the room come together! GREAT Nursery!

Mr.M - the chair is from Room and Board (Carter glider); the ottoman is a random piece of furniture we had lying around the house. We wanted something that was washable and wouldn't show schmutz, so my wife made a set of simple brown linen slipcovers for the chair & ottoman. The best part is, when Hattie outgrows them, we can move them into any other room in the house.
