The best laid plans. When space is tight, planning furniture layout in the nursery is essential. This especially is true when furniture lead times are 14+ weeks.
We found these life-sized furniture templates by Design Yourself Interiors. The Baby Spaces templates offer actual footprints of a crib, bassinet, changing table, dresser, and glider/rocker so you can layout the nursery before you put in your furniture order.
We did it the old-fashioned way - tape measure and graph paper. Others used painter's tape to outline the furniture footprint or cut their own templates.
But we can see how these pre-cut templates are convenient when you are deciding between different layouts and want to swap things around easily.
