Everyone loves a good lack hack (we also really like to rhyme but that's a story for another time) and this one is no exception. Lack shelving are great transitional pieces that can carry your children from infants and on through college, especially if they're shown a bit of love and attention, just like this one...
Using thin foam and some great fabric that accentuates the long clean lines of the lack bookcase, Annette, over at IKEA Hacker, went to town! Tucking and stapling as she went, this kid friendly reading nook/book and toy storage can be changed up as the tastes do.
Check out the full play by play and another shot of the final piece, over at IKEA Hacker.

I really like that - and ya, that fabric is very nice. There's something about yellow and grey that makes me smile.
I may use this idea for my son's room - thanks!
