Jonathan Adler Footstools

A pet without the responsibility. That's what Jonathan Adler's website says about these beautiful and classic animal-shaped leather footstools.

There are five different animals to choose from; the hippo is our favorite. It would make a great piece in the nursery as a nursing stool or in a kid's room as a seat/ride-on toy.

I agree. These are creepy. Especially since they are made in leather and have that mottled burgundy stain to them. I can only imagine hearing the ghosts of the poor animals that these things were made out of at night as these footstools would stare blankly up at me in the dark. Now a white wool woven sweater like material, THAT would be something to write about.
