(Hello to Tara, one of four bloggers trying out for a spot on the Ohdeedoh editorial team. Comments are welcome!)
On a recent trip to the local mall we wandered into the children’s clothing store Jacadi Paris and picked up their catalog. We were surprised to learn that in addition to the beautiful children’s clothing carried in US boutiques, Jacadi also has a collection...
...of nursery and children’s furniture.
With four different lines ranging from traditional to modern, Jacadi seems to have something for everyone. We can imagine the curves and caning on the Cannage line looking perfect in a vintage modern bedroom and the Brumme line fitting nicely into any little one’s room.
All furniture, toys and accessories can be seen in the gorgeously styled Jacadi catalog.

OH I am so glad that you posted this! Really, Jacardi is a must see. I have been eying their display rooms for a long time now. Perfect mix of traditional meets modern. Very cool!

Hi! All this furniture is beautiful, I agree, the catalog is gorgeous. Only one problem, they do not deliver to the US. Nothing I hate more than being tempted with something beautiful only to be told I can't have it! Oh well, I guess you can take inspiration from it if nothing else!

What I want are the toys in the catalog! Do any of the US stores stock the toys?

Jacadi is great. I'm fortunate to live near a Jacadi and their clothes and toys are great-looking and seem to be good quality, though they can be a bit pricey. Pencils, my mom bought my 11-month-old daughter her first doll, all cloth, at Jacadi in South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, Calif. in Orange County. I know they also stock some of the nursery items like bumpers, etc. though I never looked into whether they do special orders or you just have to buy what they have in stock.

ebay is always an option....

I was able to buy some of the toys at the store in San Francisco. My understanding was that any of the toys or nursery items (except the furntiure) that they didn't have in stock could be ordered.

I changed my mind about the mall...I WISH my mall had a Jacadi store. I still haven't been able to figure out how to order any of these beautiful things! Oh well, I will hope someone opens up a franchise (I think that is how they sell in the US) close to us in Oregon.
