It always pays to shop non-baby stores for baby items, especially when you aren't happy with the existing baby offerings. We've blogged about converting that changing table into a bar. We've even blogged before about using a kitchen cart or tool cart as a changing table. And here is a great looking example of tool cart turned changing table.
Cute. Doesn't look terribly large though. My little guy would have outgrown it pretty quickly.

I love it!! I think for my son it would have lasted until he refused to be up on the changing table anyway (now he insists on the floor, which is fine).

I love that idea. We had a cart for storage that we had bought from target which was nice but we only wish that it was also a changing table. With the storage under the bottom its the perfect portable table. You know that would also work great as a drink and utensil cart for an outdoor party. Put the cups, spoons, forks and plates at the bottom and drinks at the top. It possibilities are endless.
