Green...long considered a good, gender-neutral choice. In the past it was often the same old safe, minty pastel - but todays trend is to embrace all shades of green, making for modern rooms that grow along with your child. Take a look at five very different gorgeous greens from our archives (and click on any of the titles for the full Nursery Tour!) :

Celeste's Wonky, Wonderful Room Textured white walls set off with a light springy green dresser and decorative letters.

Leanne's Babe in the Woods: Varied shades of green suit the forest feel of the woodsy nursery.

Rowen's Nursery Tour: Bright lime looks modern and fresh combined with chocolate brown and white.

Oscar's Big Boy Room: A warm bright avocado is a happy choice that will work as the child grows.

Sophia Ann's Celery Stripes: Soft celery green offset with with graphic black and white floral drapes.

I love green in a child's room (actually, I love green in ANY room!). We've moved several times since our daughter was born (we're Army) and her room is always painted a happy Granny Smith apple green (Laura Ashley makes a great one!)

LOVE all the green...
tgray99 - I clinked on your links and that toddler bed is great. Was it a crib at one time and if so, what kind is it? I'm doing the research and I love the look of yours.
