Vintage Cowboy Room

Here's a fun find from the land down under. Carmen Raynor of design firm Retro Rooms in Syndey gave the folks over at Project Nursery a peek at her son's room.

The room's inspiration was a duvet cover by Cath Kidston. Advertising posters from the 1950's give it that vintage feel.

"Luckily there is enough storage in the room to hide all the unsightly modern toys!" says Carmen. Now that's not something we hear around here everyday!

I'm a sucker for the light blue and red palatte so I'm especially loving this room...

I adore vintage in kids' rooms! Not really digging the name emblazoned on the wall though - the color & font don't seem to mesh as well as they could with the rest of the palette & style. This would age well with a child and would be great for either a boy or a girl. Nice!
