We know that for little legs small tasks can be tricky. In the kitchen or bathroom we might use a step stool, but in the bedroom, that's not always as safe. While checking out Parenthacks we saw a great solution to the bedtime height problem that can occur.
Simply take a cookie sheet and place it under your toddler's mattress and only leave a few small inches sticking out. They will be able to use the remaining few inches as a boost up into bed, without fear of tripping over it during the night or in the morning. We think it's a resourceful idea, although it obviously would need a little adjusting for your specific child and bed.

We took off the box spring and stored it underneath the bed, leaving a few inches sticking out for a step. When my daughter grew big enough not to need it(around 4), we put the box spring back under the mattress.

Does anyone know where that bedding is from? So cute!

Heck no we wouldn't do this in our house! The cookie sheet would be promptly removed and used for something nefarious.
