Morgan and Matilda were the inspiration for the small family business known as Little Baby Company. This online UK store has a beautiful aesthetic and the online shopping experience is simple and fun.

"Modern and Unique" is their logo and you'll find over 45 designers from around the world, along with a wide variety of unique items for baby that will inspire you.

This hanging rabbit has such a simple design, and yet, hang a few of these in the room, and you've instantly added a fabulous design element, as well as a toy.

They're designed by Dutch designers Geesje van Reijen and Eefje Dapperen, and hidden baby-safe weights are what allow you to hang them wherever you need a touch of whimsy.

Little Baby Company also has a very fun collection of books. Sparkle and Spin is one we hadn't heard of, but it's a book that appreciates the sound of words so we're in. They also have a few really special books by Japanese illustrator Taro Miura that we would easily select for our bookshelf.

We also like these lovely felt placemats by Germany's Parkhaus. We like most anything felt, plus it even has a removable coaster.

We never get tired of polka dots, especially in a child's room, and we learned that these wall stickers were inspired by British artist Damien Hirst's spot paintings, "where no two colours are alike."
