We love finding small businesses that carry quality kids' items.

And when they have an online presence, everyone can enjoy it. In a nutshell, Nico and Zoe is a small business owned by moms Pamela and Stacy that sells "artisan made high quality toys for the urban kid, age birth to six."

For the city baby, this Fold and Go Barn (Melissa and Doug) is a great introduction to where things like milk and eggs come from. It folds up and has a carrying handle for easy clean-up. $50.

Changeable Charlie is another hit at $18. He's made by Mossy Creek Woodworks out of local hardwoods and is unpainted and unstained. Charlies is a natural beauty.

Winner, winner...Felt Chicken Dinner, handmade by Butter & Honey. $20 and includes gravy (plate not included).

If you like what you see, browse Nico and Zoe for more fun toys. And soon, we'll be giving you a tour of the room co-owner Pamela created for her daughter Zoe. Stay tuned...

Just a short comment on the title of this post: it looks like the name of this shop is "Nico and Zoe" and not "Nic"
